Sussex County 4-H Foundation, Inc.
On February 26, 1968, the Sussex County 4-H Foundation Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of NJ, was formed for the purposes of furthering the entire County 4-H movement.
The creation of a scholarship fund was one of the major goals of the Foundation. This goal has been realized and now has become a source for youth involved in 4-H to seek financial assistance to pursue the process of learning beyond the secondary level of education.
Funding for the grants given are made possible by contributions from a number of continuing donors.
These include:
- Sussex County 4-H Teen Council;
- Sussex County 4-H Market Animal Sale;
- 4-H clubs county-wide through an annual fundraising project; and,
- many generous individuals throughout Sussex County.
The Foundation sponsors an annual holiday wreath sale in November.
The Foundation also funds the hosting of this website as a vehicle for facilitating communication within the Sussex County 4-H Community.
